More building!
Below are the continued iterations of my block. The first two images show the improved sizing, making the block a proper cube shape. Image 3 and 4 show a fun alternative use of the blocks, allowing for more creative shapes to be built. Lastly, I used rubber bands to test my idea of connecting the cubes like my original inspiration; snake blocks. This works fairly well, but it takes a bit of effort to align the corners of the blocks onto eachother under the tension of the rubber bands.
My design has quite some empty space within the block to allow for additional pieces to help with interoperability. However, I am not quite sure yet how I will attach these.
